All Fitness Classes are taught by certified CanFit Pro instructors. 

*Classes with an asterisk will not be running July & August.

Dryland Training Room:  Total Body Interval 

All other classes will be held in the Gymnasium.

Fitness Class Descriptions:

Step it Up

Step it Up-An energized step class done on a Reebok step. Class is for all fitness levels.

Cardio

Muscles in Motion-A Hi/Low Impact class to work that heart rate!

Cardio & Pilates-An energized cardio class to work that heart followed by the important core strength building of Pilates all combined into one class. 

Weekend Fix and Complete Workout-Everything you need in one class, 30 mins of cardio and 30 mins of strength training.

Interval Training-They say that slow and steady wins the race.  But the cardiovascular key to fat burning is using interval training workouts-workouts that alternate high-intensity levels with lower intensity effort.  Step, skip, and box your way to a great fun workout! (coming this fall!)

Bootcamp-Strength, cardio, pilates, interval training and more!  If you are ready to change up your curent workout then this is the class for you!  Is this class hard?  Yes BUT not impossible and you have to start somewhere!!!! (coming this fall!)

Spinning-An exercise class done of stationary bikes with music and an instructor.  This is a great no impact exercise and great for all abilities.  ~NEW for 2013~

Yoga

Yoga-Stretch, strengthen and rejuvenate body and mind with this hour-long General Yoga class. From beginners to experienced yogis, participants are encouraged to work at their own pace, and options will given to accommodate all levels of fitness and health.

Yogalates-A combination class of Yoga moves to increase balance and flexibility along with Pilates to increase core strength.  ~NEW~

Active Seniors

Sit & Fit-Exercises done in a chair or with assistance from the chair. This class is geared for those who need a little less intensity but still need the exercise.

Zoomer Fitness-A high energy low intensity class for those who are just a little silver!

Dance

Zumba & Zumba Express-High Energy latin dance plus aerobic moves to tone and sculpt the entire body!

Zumba Gold-Designed for the active older adult and/or the true beginner.  The main difference between Zumba Gold and Zumba is Zumba Gold is done at a lower intensity and not as fast but certainly lots of fun!

Zumba Toning-A high energy class that incorporates Zumba dance with muscle toning exercises.  Zumba experience an asset.

Muscles

Pilates-Emphasizing flexibility and overall strength this class incorporates exercises on the mat, ball or by standing.

Awesome Arms & Fab Abs-A muscle toning program for the upper body and the abs.

Muscle Toning-This class will target all the muscles in your body and strengthen and stretch them all leaving you feeling energized.

Please note:  Teens ages 13 - 15 may also attend any class because they are supervised by an instructor.
