Parking Control
The City of Brantford operates and maintains 1170 parking spaces in three surface lots, one parking structure and 480 on-street parking spaces in the downtown core (no meters). The parking by laws are enforced by 1 full time and 3 contract by law officers. Three officers patrol the downtown core and one is used to patrol ‘hot spots’ and private property as required.
Every year the City updates the downtown parking survey to identify the problem areas and to determine the future needs.
