Business Planning & Cash Flow Forecasting – Sue Loveless

How and why you need to write a business plan—a seminar offering real life insights into the reasons why you develop a business plan, the pitfalls you want to avoid and how to use the plan to manage your business prior, during and after opening. Cash flow forecasting is one of the most important tools you can use to forecast your income and estimate your expenses.

Market Research & Marketing Strategies – Sue Loveless

You will learn where and how to find primary and secondary research to include in your business plan.  We will discuss how understanding the market will assist you to make informed business decisions. Learn how to successfully implement marketing techniques, personal promotions and sales strategies for business start-ups. Starter Company Orientation – Kara Davey

The Starter Company is a provincially funded program for youth between the ages 18 -29 years who are not in school full-time.  The orientation session will include information regarding Starter Company overview, Training, Mentoring, Funding, Eligibility, Timelines, writing a Business Plan and next steps if you’re interested.
