About Us
Arts, culture and heritage are a vital part of life in Brantford. The city boasts a rich, diverse range of cultural resources including an array of performing, literary, and visual arts organizations, multicultural groups, libraries, a large performance venue, galleries and museums, and an extensive number of independent artists and craftspeople.
In 2004, the Brantford Cultural Network was formed as part of the City of Brantford's Economic Development & Tourism Department, with a mission to promote, encourage, and coordinate arts and culture in Brantford and area in order to enhance this sector as a viable generator of economic activity. The Brantford Cultural Advisory Committee is the advisory committee of citizen volunteers appointed by Council.
