About Us

Arts, culture and heritage are a vital part of life in Brantford. The city boasts a rich, diverse range of cultural resources including an array of performing, literary, and visual arts organizations, multicultural groups, libraries, a large performance venue, galleries and museums, and an extensive number of independent artists and craftspeople.

The arts and culture portfolio of the City of Brantford's Economic Development & Tourism Department has a mission to promote, encourage, and coordinate arts and culture in Brantford and area in order to enhance this sector as a viable generator of economic activity.  The Brantford Cultural Advisory Committee is the advisory committee of citizen volunteers appointed by Council to support cultural initiatives.
