Brantford's Community Cultural Investment Program (CCIP)
The deadline for the City of Brantford’s 2011/2012 Community Cultural Investment Program has now passed. Applications for 2012/2013 will be available in June 2012.
Funded by the City of Brantford, the goals for the Community Cultural Investment Program are: to provide operating financial assistance to not-for-profit organizations within the Brantford Arts, Culture, and Heritage community; to encourage public awareness and appreciation of culture; to increase access to quality local cultural programming; and to enhance the quality-of-life of the citizens of Brantford. This program replaces the Operating Arts Grant from the City of Brantford.
The 2011/2012 Community Cultural Investment Program provides grants to Brantford Cultural organizations in two categories:
- Annual Operating Grants – provide smaller grants for operating, programming and administrative costs. These are annual grants for organizations that provide cultural programming as their primary activity.
- Core Operating Grants (Museum Funding Agreements) – provide stability to established core cultural organizations. These are three-year operating grants (subject to City budget approval); groups must submit annual follow-up reports to review and measure achievement.
New applicants must attend an information workshop session or contact the Arts & Culture Coordinator.
For more information about the program, please contact Nicole Drake, Arts & Culture Coordinator at 519-751-9900 x219 or bcn@brantford.ca.
