In 2010 we will be publishing the first ever Brantford Cultural Directory. The directory will provide contact and capability information about hundreds of individual artists, performers, cultural not-for-profits, and cultural sector businesses.
The new Cultural Directory will assist people who work in the arts, culture and heritage sector to find one another within and among disciplines, generations, traditions and locations. Information collected will also be used to update the City’s Online Cultural Directory. Our hope is that the project will also facilitate community-wide communication, co-operation and collaborations.
A comprehensive inventory of our cultural assets will also serve to demonstrate the strength, range and significance of the cultural sector in Brantford.
