First elected to Brantford City Council in 2010, Councillor Debi Dignan-Rumble is committed to actively representing the constituents of Ward 3.
Debi was born and raised in Brantford where she attended various catholic public schools and St. John’s College. She received a Diploma in Recreation Leadership from Mohawk College, Hamilton and proceeded to work in the Health Care profession for over 25 years.
As a Recreation Therapist Debi has assisted individuals obtain passports, health cards, and social insurance numbers. Debi has helped individuals reacquaint themselves within the community and assisted in finding housing and transportation.
Her knowledge of the community stems from her previous position as Program Co-ordinator at the Adult Recreation Therapy Centre and her vast volunteer experience on various boards and committee’s over the past 15 years, Debi has become a strong advocate for senior’s and individuals that are physically disabled.
