2010 Municipal Election Candidate Information Session
On Thursday, April 29, 2010 the City of Brantford hosted a Candidate Information Session for all individuals interested in becoming a candidate or for those who have already filed their nomination papers.
The session focused on many of the key requirements necessary to commence an election campaign, including financial compliance requirements. It also hightlighted recent changes to the Municipal Election Act and provided important information relative to the roles of Mayor, Councillors and School Board Trustees.
