4th Annual Sports Hall of Recognition Banquet 

The Brantford Sports Council is pleased to announce that the 4th Annual Brantford Sports Recognition Banquet will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the Best Western Brant Park Inn.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Dave Draper. Doors open at 6 p.m.; dinner is at 7 p.m.

Awards will be presented for the following:

  1. The Jimmy Wilkes Award for Team of the Year
  2. The John Macklin Memorial Award for Coach of the Year
  3. The Frank Bricker Memorial Award for Male Youth Leadership
  4. The Phyllis Gretzky Memorial Award for Female Youth Leadership
  5. The George Churchill Memorial Award for Sports Volunteer of the Year
  6. The George Jones Memorial Award for Lifetime Sports Volunteerism
  7. The Jack Calbeck Memorial Award for Lifetime Sports Sponsorship

Brantford’s Sportsman of the Year — The Frank Tomlin Memorial Award – will also be presented at this event.
