City Blooms Bright - 2009 Daffodil Winners Are In!
The results are in, and this year’s challenge was once again a great success. The Daffodil Awards Program recognizes a broad range of interesting, unusual and outstanding private gardens.

Community judges searched the city looking for gardens that display one or more of the following characteristics:
- Interesting colour combinations
- Use of alternative materials
- Visually pleasing
- Enhance the neighbourhood
- Have “curb appeal”
Winners received a wooden daffodil to proudly display in their gardens. The wooden daffodils were hand made by Brantford General Hospital Vocational Program participants.
