The Brantford, County of Brant, Six Nations and New Credit Discovery Guide has arrived

The 12th annual 2013/14 Discovery Guide has arrived to showcase some of the best attractions our area has to offer. The City of Brantford Economic Development & Tourism Department, in partnership with the County of Brant, Six Nations and New Credit, is excited to announce the arrival of the guide which will be distributed locally door-to-door in May. With great getaway ideas, an expanded map section and comprehensive listings, the guide is a must-have for residents and visitors alike. Complete with colourful photos and editorial content including features on our beautiful gardens, sport infrastructure, outdoor adventure and much more.

This year, 100,000 copies of the Discovery Guide have been printed, giving it the largest distribution of any local tourism publication in the area. In addition to the door-to-door local distribution, the guide will also be available at many area attractions, hotels, Chamber of Commerce offices, the Brantford Visitor & Tourism Centre, Six Nations Tourism and in various locations throughout the County of Brant. The Discovery Guide will also be made available through Tourism Information Centres across Ontario. The guide is a key fulfillment piece for delegates who attend meetings and conventions in the area, as well as sport event participants and tournament athletes.

Made possible by 94 advertisers, the Discovery Guide features area restaurants, arts and culture, hotel accommodations, golf courses and campgrounds. For the first time ever, the guide includes QR codes throughout the publication to allow users to find more information on a variety of websites promoting the area.

The 2013/14 Discovery Guide is available online at www.discoverbrantford.com. Here, visitors are able to link to advertiser websites and easily print pages with a click of a button. Instructions on how to use the online guide are also available on the website.
