The City of Brantford Economic Development & Tourism Department invites you to participate in the 2011 Photo Contest, sponsored by Henry’s Brantford. If you are a shutterbug, there’s never been a better time to capture the places and faces in our community! The contest is open to any amateur photographer and will run from August 15 to November 15, 2011.
New for 2011! Four specific submission categories:
- Art, Music & Culture
- Outdoor & Sporting Activities
- Festivals & Events
- Heritage Structures, Landscapes and Architecture – category sponsored by Mayor Chris Friel
We’re looking for photos that depict positive lifestyle activities in areas that are recognizable or unique to Brantford, the County of Brant, Six Nations and New Credit. Only amateur photography will be accepted and there’s a limit of two entries per category per entrant. Photos are to be submitted online through the website only - entries submitted in any other way will not be eligible in the contest.
Prizes will be awarded to one winner in each of the four categories and include the following, (all sponsored by Henrys):
- $125 Henrys gift card
- Henrys umbrella
- 4gb USB drive
- Henrys Eco-friendly bag
- Copies of Here Now and Photo News magazines

It allows us to gather imagery from both residents and visitors to the area for use on our website and in our advertising programs.
