The Brantford Police Service is looking for our input and ideas as they develop a new business plan.

"We want to hear from everyone who is connected to this community," said Constable Nat Laing, "We want to hear from residents and we want to hear from businesses, partners and agencies, as well. "There are people who, even though they don't live here, are connected to the community because they work or go to school here."

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and can be accessed by clicking on this link: http://fluidsurveys.com/surveys/rose-B/brantford-police-services-partners/ . The survey information, administered through LPS Consulting of Brantford will be stored and analyzed on a password protected site through Fluid Surveys, police said in a statement.

The survey is open until the end of July. "We strive to hear from as many people as possible to capture your ideas about what is important to you right now and in the future," Laing said. "We want to know your thoughts on what we do well and what we can do better."

The information will be used to help inform and develop a new business plan and the future direction of Branford's police service.

Police services boards in Ontario are required to complete a business plan every three years. The plan addresses provincial adequacy standards and areas identified through public and partner input.
