Brantford Transit Encourages Public to Provide Feedback

As the third fastest growing city in Ontario and the tenth fastest growing in Canada, the City of Brantford is on a mission to improve our transit service to meet the City’s developing needs. The City is currently in the process of developing a 10-Year Plan that will make our transit services more customer-focused, inter-connected and sustainable. A vital part of the plan’s development involves consultation with those we serve to understand public needs, collect feedback and create a customized made-in-Brantford plan.

To inform the planning process, the City strongly encourages residents and businesses to participate in a Public Information Meeting Thursday May 5th to provide your input regarding current levels of service and what you would like to see from Brantford Transit in the future. Specifically, the City is seeking input regarding operational aspects of Brantford Transit and Brantford Lift including routes, schedules, user needs, administration, and a peer review to see how we compare to other cities. Furthermore, the public input session seeks to identify needs and opportunities for improving service by determining future needs and service options.

Following are the Transit System Review Public Information Centre options:

Lynden Park Mall – Entrance #4 (by bus)

Those who cannot attend the meetings are encouraged to provide their feedback to transit@brantford.ca by Thursday May 12th.
