On Tuesday, August 9th Brantford City Council will consider a notice of intent for exemption to the City’s Noise Control bylaw in order that the concert can be broadcasted in its entirety on the evening of Saturday, August 20, 2016.

Along with our Eagle Place Association community partners and over 25 participating communities in Ontario, the City is proud to be part of this national celebration to pay tribute to and honour the cultural impact and influence that “The Tragically Hip” has had on music and on our country.

In addition to the concert that will be live streamed beginning at 8:30 p.m., the event, that will officially begin at 5:30 p.m. will include food vendors on site and live entertainment featuring a series of local area bands who will perform prior to the screening. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will also be accepted during the event.
