UPDATE:  The City Hall Elevator has been repaired.  All meetings will be held in their original location at City Hall, 100 Wellington Square.  The meetings will be televised from Council Chambers as originally scheduled.

The elevator at City Hall is currently out of service. Due to a labour stoppage we do not know when repairs can be made.

To ensure that public meetings are open and accessible to all, the City Clerk's Department has developed a backup plan. Meetings will be held in accessible locations on the main and ground floors of City Hall if possible. Alternate locations are also available at the Provincial Offences Court Office (Court Room 1 or 2) just meters from City Hall.

Watch for signs with information about meetings scheduled at City Hall. City staff will be on hand to direct people to alternate locations if necessary.

Unfortunately, Rogers Television will not be able to televise meetings that have been moved from Council Chambers.
