City to hold Transit Open House Wednesday January 25th to share initial improvement plans

BRANTFORD – As the third fastest growing city in Ontario and the tenth fastest growing in Canada, the City of Brantford is on a mission to improve our transit service to meet the City’s future growth. Ensuring that Branford Transit and Brantford Lift continue to meet the needs of residents and businesses is vital to maintaining the City’s stature as a destination of choice to live, work and play.

The City has recently completed a comprehensive review and assessment of our transit services, the outcome of which is a new vision and plan that will make our transit services more customer-focused, inter-connected and sustainable. A vital part of the plan’s development involved a six-month consultation process to understand public needs and collect input and feedback to create a customized made-in-Brantford plan.

To continue to inform the community regarding the initial implementation of the plan, the City strongly encourages residents and businesses to attend a public Open House on:

The City is excited to share initial plans to improve operational aspects of Brantford Transit and Brantford Lift with a focus on better connecting passengers to their place of employment and GO Transit Services during peak travel times.
