Intensification Strategy Project Seeks Public Input

The City of Brantford continues to seek input from the public about the intensification strategy this month. The final open house session, on June 12, will provide an update on the project and an opportunity for feedback. An online questionnaire is available and comments can be made via email or telephone. The public consultation phase of the project will end on June 30.
INTENSIFICATION STRATEGY OPEN HOUSE

6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
City staff will present an update of the work completed since the March public meeting, an overview of the implementation plan for the intensification strategy and the following items:
- Draft Official Plan Policies and Zoning Bylaw Regulations
- Draft Urban Design Guidelines
- Draft Citizens Guide to Intensification
Attendees will be given the opportunity to provide feedback on the information presented at the meeting. The open house materials will be made available online and the public is encouraged to provide feedback via email or telephone.
INTENSIFICATION STRATEGY QUESTIONNAIRE
The online questionnaire offers the public a venue to provide input regarding buildings, streets and public spaces in the urban growth centre (downtown) and intensification areas. It also provides an opportunity for input about brownfield, greyfield and greenfield site improvements and redevelopment. The questionnaire includes photographic examples and a map identifying each of the areas.
