A public meeting has been scheduled to discuss the Brantford Transit Service Expansion and Storm Water Management and Flooding Issues.
Brantford Transit Service Expansion
In order to improve transit opportunities for residents in the southwest, for students at St. John’s College and for riders to the Northwest Industrial Area (NWIA), Brantford Transit will be initiating a number of route changes beginning September 2010.
In addition to these alterations, and as part of the new Route #6 extension, amendments to parking will also be required for alternate side of street winter parking on Duncan Avenue, Shantz Avenue, Avedesian Street, Lambert Crescent, Powell Road and Warner Lane.
Stormwater Management and Flooding Issues
Following recent heavy storm events, the City's Design and Construction Services staff will be providing a powerpoint presentation relating to stormwater management and flooding issues.
The meeting will be held as follows:
- Date & Time: Wednesday, August 25, 2010
- 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Location: The Salvation Army - Hall, 33 Diana Avenue, Brantford, Ontario
