Brantford, ON – In 2017, the City of Brantford is marking Canada 150 and Ontario 150 with a yearlong program of free special events and celebrations. The Brantford Celebrates 150 Tour will kick off with an exciting event on Thursday, May 18, 2017 when OLG presents Elton Rohn with Piano Man at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts for the Ontario 150 Launch Event.

The evening, hosted by Brant MPP Dave Levac, begins with special announcements about the entertainment line-up and headlining performers for Brantford’s Ontario Day and Brantford’s Canada Day – 150 Celebrations - on June 30 and July 1, 2017. Following, Piano Man will take the stage before Elton Rohn closes off the concert and officially launches the Brantford Celebrates 150 Tour.

Two complimentary tickets to the Ontario 150 Launch Event on May 18 are available to anyone who participates in the ‘Made In Ontario’ photo display on the City’s website. Concert enthusiasts simply need to submit a photo online of their favourite Ontario memory with family or friends and include a brief description of what makes the memory special.
