Brantford Facility Accessibility Design Standards
On November 16, 2009 Brantford City Council adopted the Brantford Facility Accessibility Design Standards (FADS). These standards are comprised of fixed measurments and other requirements that will be used in conjuction with the Ontario Building Code and the Principles of Universal Design, previously adopted by Council, to ensure a higher and more consistent level of accessibility throughout the City.
Upon adoption by Council, the Brantford FADS were immediately effective and apply to all new construction and appropriate rennovations of all City of Brantford owned, operated or leased facilities.
