All funerals within the Cemeteries shall be under the direction of the designated Cemetery staff.
Interment Orders from funeral directors shall be construed as orders from owners.
Prior to an interment taking place:
- a Burial Permit or Certificate of Cremated Remains must be received by the Cemetery office
- proof of the "right to inter" in the requested lot must be provided to the Cemetery office
- the Interment Rights Holder or the personal representative shall enter into a contract for cemetery services in a form provided by the City of Brantford
A minimum of twelve (12) working hours notice is required from the interment rights holder or their personal representative before a grave can be opened.
All funerals must be scheduled to arrive in the Cemeteries between the hours of:
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday
8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday (extra fee)

Cemetery offices and operations are closed for the days noted:
January 1 - New Year's Day
February - Family Day
April - Good Friday
April - Easter Monday
May - Victoria Day
July 1 - Canada Day
August - Civic Holiday
September - Labour Day
October - Thanksgiving
November - Remembrance Day
December 25 - Christmas Day
December 26 - Boxing Day
