Court Office - Brantford, Ontario
WITHIN 15 DAYS, YOU MUST CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING THREE OPTIONS:
Plea of guilty (payment out of court)
By choosing this option you are stating that you are guilty and will pay the total payable displayed on the bottom of the ticket. Click for payment options.
Plead Guilty with an explanation
By choosing this option, also known as "walk-in guilty plea," you are stating you are guilty but will offer an explanation to a Justice of the Peace with the possibility of having your fine reduced or payment time extended. You must visit the Provincial Offences Court Office within the dates and time shown on the back of your ticket and bring your ticket in with you.
By choosing this option you intend to appear in court. Sign option 3 on the back of your ticket to request a trial date and return it to the Provincial Offences Court Office. Ensure that the address shown on the front of the notice is correct. As well, you must indicate in which language you wish the trial to be held.
If you do not exercise one of the above options within 15 days, or if you do not appear for your trial, a Justice of the Peace will review your case and may enter a conviction in your absence.
