Woodchips & Firewood 

Woodchips

Woodchips are available for pickup at two locations: Mohawk Park & Cockshutt Park.  You may take as much as you wish, but bring a shovel and your own buckets, bags, or pick-up truck to load it up. 

Firewood

Firewood is also available intermittently at the woodchip bins.  It is very popular and tends to disappear very quickly.  Please remember: the firewood is not ready to burn.  Firewood needs to be cut & split and left for a year to season.  Fresh-cut wood is too wet to burn.  If you burn unseasoned wood you are at great risk of having a chimney fire!
