Site Alteration By-law
Prior to any work taking place on private or public property, the Site Alteration By-law must be taken into consideration:
The City of Brantford passed By-law 28-2011 prohibiting and regulating the placing or dumping of fill, the removal of soil and the alteration of the grade of land.
Under this By-law, (site alteration) activities may require a Site Alteration Permit to be obtained.
Site Alteration Permits are administered by Design & Construction Services. Additional information (fees, forms, etc.) can be obtained by clicking on the information provided below.
