Winter:

Drain barrel and store inside shed or garage. If left outside with freezing water inside, the barrel may crack. If barrel is stored in a sheltered location that can still allow for water to freeze, ensure that the barrel is completely drained of water and/or stored upside down. If the rain barrel cracks due to water freezing in it, it will not be covered under the manufacturers warranty.
