2017 Gardening Seminars 

Want to learn how to add curb appeal to your home?  Each year the City of Brantford hosts free Gardening Seminars for City residents in the month of March. These seminars vary in topic to educate residents on the best way to convert their green space into an attractive, waterwise landscape.

If you have any questions on this program, or TO REGISTER FOR ANY OF THE SEMINARS SHOWN BELOW, please call the Water Conservation Hotline at 519-759-1511 OR e-mail your name(s), home address and phone number, along with the seminars you are interested in attending to: waterconservation@brantford.ca. Walk-ins on the day of the workshop may also be possible if room is available.

Edible Landscaping - Beauty and the Feast

Resource Responsible Gardening

Presented by: Paul Zammit, "Toronto Botanical Gardens"

Join Paul as he draws on his years of gardening experience to discuss how the plant choices we make, where we choose to grow our plants, and how we choose to maintain them in our gardens can greatly reduce stress and impact on our soils while helping to conserve precious resources such as water.

SEMINAR CANCELLED: Lawn Care the Natural Way
