Children's Water Festival

The City of Brantford has been a proud partner in delivering the Brantford/Brant Children’s Water Festival since its inception in 2006. A 3-day event held annually in May, the festival is a fun and interactive experience aimed to educate children about the importance of water conservation, protecting our water resources and respecting our environment. Through 30 hands-on activities, students learn about the various aspects of water related to science, technology, conservation protection and attitudes.

Held in Mohawk Park, each year the festival hosts over 1,500 fourth grade students from the County of Brant, the City of Brantford and Six Nations of the Grand River. Generous sponsorship and dedicated volunteers make this event free of charge.

The 2012 festival was held on May 15-17th and was a huge success. Click to visit the festival website for more information, including teacher and volunteer info.
