Skating & A Movie
Back by popular demand, Brantford's favourite way to beat the winter blahs. Make Saturday afternoons family fun time. Come downtown to Harmony Square to skate and then warm up and relax at the Main Library with a fun family film. Every Saturday from January 7th until Fevruary 25. Drop in!
Films Start At 2:30 P.M.
- January 14 - Mr. Popper’s Penguins, Rated G, 94 minutes
- January 21 - Rango, Rated PG, 107 minutes
- January 28 - Winnie the Pooh, Rated G, 68 minutes

Community Skate Exchange - bring us your old/gently used skates & allow a member of our community to glide at Harmony Square or one of our many neighbourhood rinks this winter!

Frosty Fest February 18-20, 2012
Freedom House present's Brantford's Winter Carnival FROSTY FEST in Harmony Square! The 3rd annual celebration of LIFE in the winter sees the return of the popular ice carving, horse-drawn trolly rides, a street midway and snow taffy. NEW this year a professional snowboarding competition as well as a pancake breakfast! Admission is FREE and this will be the setting for full-family holiday weekend memories for years to come!
Chili Willy Cook Off February 26, 2012
Chili tasting is available for only $5.00/bowl, and the festivities will run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26th, 2012.
Take a break from the chili sampling and enjoy free public skating while listening to the sounds of local band "Practically Hip" who will be performing on the Bell Stage.
