Recreational Programs
Active 2010 is a strategy to increase participation in sport and physical activity throughout Ontario. ACTIVE 2010 will contribute to healthier Ontarians, stronger communities, and reduced health care costs. By the year 2010, the goal is to have at least 55 per cent of Ontarians physically active.
Brantford Parks and Recreation will be doing their part to help accomplish this goal by creating and enhancing opportunities for Brantford residents to become involved in quality sport activities and by encouraging the community to participate in daily physical activity. we value and believe participation in sport and physical activity is an integral and essential part of a healthy lifestyle.
