Environmental Objectives
Starting with the 2006-2007-winter season, Works staff has developed a special salt route using 100% organic products with salt, for the Northwest Area of the City, as part of the City’s ongoing attempt to protect the perched fen. The cost of this initiative, although more expensive than traditional programs, will assist the City in its focus.
