Community Advisory Board on Homelessness (CAB)
Homelessness Partnering Strategy - Call for New Members
The community-based Board, formed in 2002, requires new members to assist the community, the municipality and senior levels of government, to systematically address the causes of homelessness and provide supports for the homeless population in our community. The Community Advisory Board meets monthly to monitor and discuss Homelessness Partnership Strategy (HPS) related items. Applicants should be prepared to commit to board membership for two full years.
To this end, we invite you to consider submitting a completed application form for review by the current Chair of CAB and City of Brantford.
The application form will require the following information:
- Contact information (address, phone number, e-mail)
- Reason for interest in participating in CAB
- Your personal understanding of homelessness and the implications it holds for our society and community
- Description of your background, experiences and skills you would bring to the Board References from two individuals who support your application
