Procedure for enrollment

If a parent would like to enroll their child in the program, an admission procedure and orientation can be arranged with the Assistant Supervisor.

The centre has policies and procedures which the staff and parent must follow. These policies are outlined at the time of enrollment.

The admission procedure includes filling out an application form, emergency consent forms, health care and immunization information, and a parent interview with the Assistant Supervisor. At the time of this interview the child's history and habits are discussed to ensure a pleasant and informative placement into the centre. This is the time when the child can visit the program for an orientation period.

The Day Nurseries Act, under which this school is licensed , requires that children are given the opportunity for daily outdoor play. Unless the weather is very cold or wet, the child will participate in outdoor activities that are planned daily.
