Governments of Canada and Ontario Celebrate New Affordable Housing in Brantford and Brant County

BRANTFORD, ONTARIO, November 26, 2010 — The official opening of five new affordable housing projects and the start of construction of two developments was celebrated today in Brantford. The projects received more than $13.4 million in funding from the federal and provincial governments and will be occupied by persons with disabilities, families, individuals and seniors living on low income.

 

Brant and Brantford Celebrate New Affordable Housing

BRANTFORD, ON, September 11, 2009 – The Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario, and the City of Brantford today celebrated the start of construction of four affordable housing projects and the official openings of four projects. The projects are supported by more than $9.5 million in funding under the Canada – Ontario Affordable Housing Program to create 171 affordable housing units.

 

Brantford’s John Noble Home Completes $3.3 Million in Renovations to Affordable Seniors Housing
