Monday to Saturday - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday - Closed.
The Mohawk Street Landfill is also closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Tipping Fee Schedule
EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2011 - NEW Miniumum Load Fee:
All loads 150 kg (330 lbs) or less: $5.00
Material Rate/Tonne Residential, Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Garbage over 150 kg: $65.00.
Specific Materials
Yard materials, such as leaves, grass clippings (from April 1 - November 26): Free of Charge
Yard materials, such as leaves, grass clippings (from November 27 1 to March 31): $40.00.
Brush: $65.00.
Wood skids and pallets: $120.00.
Asbestos waste: $120.00.
Registerable non-hazardous waste soil: $30.00.
Concrete, asphalt and brick rubble: $10.00.
Banned mixed waste products - corrugated cardboard, recyclable wood, recyclable metal: $140.00.
Large Appliances - refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers: $5.00 each.
Tires on rims: $5.00 each. Limit of 5 tires per load per day.
Tires off rims: FREE! Limit of 5 tires per load per day.
Blue Box material & Electronic waste: FREE!
