Zoning By-law

The City of Brantford's Zoning By-law guides the development of properties and changes with our community's needs. The By-law sets our land use and development requirements, including:

  • property use, location and size;
  • building height; and
  • parking and open space requirements.

Contact the Planning Department if you have any questions about our zoning. Please contact the Committee of Adjustment if you'd like to apply for minor variances or to divide your property.
