BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford invites residents to celebrate the holiday season at the free annual Parade After Party presented by Brant Animal Aid Foundation on Saturday, November 29, 2025. The Parade After Party festivities in Harmony Square (89 Dalhousie St.) will begin at 3 p.m., following the Freedom House Santa Claus Parade, which begins at 2 p.m.. This earlier start time is intended to reduce traffic congestion and improve safety and accessibility, due to ongoing road construction.

“The City of Brantford’s Special Events team is excited to welcome everyone to the Parade After Party kicking off a little earlier this year,” says Jennifer Middleton, Special Events Supervisor for the City of Brantford. “We are extremely grateful to our sponsors for their generous support, which helps make this free community event possible.”

The Parade After Party presented by Brant Animal Aid Foundation begins following the parade with Harmony Squirrel and opening remarks from Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis and Town Crier David McKee. Residents can enjoy family-friendly, free activities throughout the event. Highlights include a meet and greet and keepsake photo opportunity with Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with a live musical performance by the Glass Slipper Company’s favourite duo, the Snow Sisters, followed by a meet and greet. Guests can also enjoy face painting, carnival treats, and free hot chocolate provided by Tim Hortons. Stilt Walker Guinness World Records holder Doug “The Great” Hunt will also be in attendance. Children are encouraged to bring letters to Santa or write a letter to mail at the event. The festivities conclude with a tree lighting ceremony in the square.
