B United: Advancing Inclusion & Empowerment in Brantford
WAKING THE unCONSCIOUS (WtC) is collaborating with the City of Brantford to enhance inclusion for everyone that calls this city home. We are developing innovative pathways and opportunities to improve education, awareness, and the acceptance of others. Key project initiatives and activities, all of which will be available to the public at no cost, including:
Customized inclusion and empowerment training sessions, provided to 200 staff and volunteers
at child-serving organizations throughout the city
7 non-traditional activities geared towards children and youth ages 0-14

| Fall Sports Clinic - October 18, 2025 |

Kids ages 3-14 are invited to a free sports clinic at Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre, 333 Erie Ave on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Learn how to play basketball, flag football and lacrosse. Registration is required. |
EDI Workshop for Brantford Child Serving Organizations
WtC in partnership with the City of Brantford's Healthy Kids All Kids initiative is provided free Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) workshop. All members of your organization from leadership, to staff, and even volunteers are invited and encouraged to join! This workshop will occur over 2 sessions:

| WtC will apply your learnings from Session # 1 through various exercises to enhance your understanding and allow for application to your organization. If you've already registered for session #1, please register for session #2. |
