Canada Day Celebration

Join us on Monday July 1st to celebrate Canada's birthday at Lions Park/Steve Brown Sports Complex from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with live music, entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display.

  • Citizenship Ceremony (9:00 a.m. at the Boys and Girls Club)
  • Campbell Amusements KidZone (12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. - bracelets are $25.00 or tickets can be purchased for $1.50 each)
  • FREE water refills from the Quench Buggy
  • Food vendors 
  • Marketplace vendors 
  • Pony rides ($5.00)
  • Sunrise Rotary beer tent 
  • On-site parking ($10.00 cash only - single entry)
  • FREE transit shuttles (1:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.)

Canada Day Shuttle Service

FREE shuttle service will run on a half hour schedule beginning at 1:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on July 1st. Buses will remain parked at the Steve Brown Sports Complex/Lions Park until fireworks are finished. The shuttles will then complete drop offs form the park.

Volunteer with us

We are looking for a variety of volunteers to assist with the celebration. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and youth can use their time toward their required community service hours. Applications will be accepted until Thursday, June 27 at 4:00 p.m.

Be a food vendor

Interested in becoming a Canada Day food vendor? Please complete both applications below. Applications will be accepted until Monday, June 17 at 4:00 p.m.

Anyone selling food vendors must be licensed by the City of Brantford. Please contact the Clerk’s office at 519-759-4150 to complete the required Business Licence applications.
