Seniors ride free on Brantford Transit in August

BRANTFORD, ON – Brantford Transit is pleased to announce that seniors can ride conventional and specialized transit for free between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. throughout the month of August 2025. 

From August 1 to 31, riders ages 50 and older can travel free of charge on Brantford Transit and Brantford Lift. Seniors must carry valid photo ID and present it upon boarding to confirm eligibility.

This initiative was approved by Brantford City Council to reduce barriers to transportation and encourage older adults to stay active, connected, and involved in the community.
