Recreation Memberships

The Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre continues to be the primary sports and leisure facility in Brantford. The facility is open daily, Monday to Friday from 5:30 am to 9:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. There are a variety of term options available including daily passes, 10-visit punchcards, 3-month memberships and annual memberships. Registered programs for all ages are also available for an additional cost. Change rooms, showers and lockers are available on-site.

NEW Weight Room Memberships include full access to the weight room and a variety of state-of-the-art cardio equipment, weights and weight lifting equipment and more.

Pool Memberships include access to scheduled swims including; length swimming, water walking and recreational swimming.

Facility Memberships are available to access scheduled swimming, fitness, sports and skating.

New in 2024, anyone renewing or purchasing a Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre 55+ Facility Membership can purchase a one-year Brantford Pickleball Pass to play unlimited pickleball at all City of Brantford facilities. Passes cost an additional $159.13 including taxes.

Adults ages 55 and over can access programming geared to older adults at a variety of locations throughout the city including the Beckett Recreation Centre including the popular senior fitness classes, Sit and Fit, Chair Yoga and Zoomer Fitness, offered at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. Free parking is available at all program locations.

The Brantford Pickleball Pass offers unlimited indoor pickleball play for one full year! This special pass is available to adults ages 55 or over and can be purchased when renewing or purchasing a Beckett Recreation Centre membership or a Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre Facility Membership, for an additional $159.13 including taxes. The Pickleball Pass is not available to those under the age of 55, Youth Memberships or for purchases of Pool or Weight Room Memberships at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre.

Youth Memberships cost only $5 for the entire year! They are available to youth ages 11 to 17 to gain access to a variety of drop-in sports, specialty programming, youth lounges located at a variety of Brantford Community Centres, gaming systems, iMac and iPad’s, board games and much more!
