The second annual Brantford Beats & Eats festival returns to downtown Brantford on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Taking place at Harmony Square and along a section of Colborne Street E., attendees can enjoy a full day of live music and entertainment, a vendor market, art demonstrations, a live painting competition, food trucks, and more. Legendary NBA entertainer and host of NBA All-Star Weekend, Q-Mack, will MC the event.

Several different artisans and vendors will be stationed along Colborne Street from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., selling a wide variety of merchandise:
Don't forget to stop by the Brantford Bulldogs, Brantford Red Sox, and Discover Brantford tents in Harmony Square.
Enjoy entertainment from various performers stationed along Colborne Street, including free magic shows from Awesome Mike Magic and Axe-Throwing from Smash ‘N Axes (for a fee).
New this year will be the Battle of the Brushes live painting competition. Seven participating artists will have 40 minutes to paint their artwork, and the audience will vote to crown the champion. Round one will take place on Colborne Street from 12 p.m. to 12:40 p.m., and the paintings will be the artists’ choice, with a voting period following. Round two will take place from 1 p.m. to 1:40 p.m., and the paintings will be Brantford-themed, with a voting period to follow before the winners are announced.

Several food trucks, including Fo'Cheezy, Frank & Furter’s, What’s the Scoop, and The Difficult Lemon, will be on-site with food and beverages for purchase. Those 19 and over can stop by the Licensed Patio sponsored by Shack Bar (ID required for entry).
Parking and Road Closures
Downtown road closures will be in effect for the community to enjoy the event. Colborne Street from Queen Street to Bain Street will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Parking is free in the municipal parking garage located at 59 Icomm Drive.
Volunteer Opportunities
The City of Brantford is currently seeking volunteers to assist with various activities during Brantford Beats & Eats. High school community hours will be available. Accepted volunteers will be required to take mandatory virtual training. Those interested are encouraged to email tourism@brantford.ca for more information.
