Woodman Park

Woodman Park features a new playground with an array of exciting new amenities designed to appeal to all ages and abilities. The accessible playground equipment is tailored for different age groups, complemented by a swing set on rubber safety surfacing. The park incorporates innovative outdoor learning and meeting spaces, games tables, paved pathways, shade structures and beautiful trees for additional shade. A new We-Go-Swing™ is available and allows both wheelchair users and non-wheelchair users to enjoy swinging at the same time which allows opportunities for interactive play.
The newly renovated Woodman Pool is open from June to Labour Day. The pool features a 25-metre pool with five lanes for swimming lengths, a 2-metre deep end and 1.2-metre shallow end with walk-oin entry, accessible ramp and water bucket splash feature. The Woodman Community Garden features an Equal Ground Community Gardens new greenhouse and accessible and raised garden beds, a variety of fruit tress and vibrant pollinator gardens and storage shed.
