Brantford Lift temporarily extends service

Brantford Lift has extended service to seniors that are 55 years of age and older for the months of July and August to attend medical appointments based on availability. This service is only available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, when Brantford Transit’s regular service is affected due to staff shortages. Pre-booking of Brantford Lift is required and last-minute bookings cannot be accommodated. Regular fares will be in place and the service will only travel to and from regular bus stops when Brantford Transit is not available.

As part of this temporary extension of service, the following regulations apply:

• Brantford Lift is available for those 55 years of age and older attending medical appointments and is based on availability.
• Brantford Lift will only pick up and drop off from regular bus stops and will only be available when Brantford Transit is not available
• Brantford Lift service must be pre-booked (last-minute bookings cannot be accommodated)
• Riders must complete a COVID-19 self-assessment
• Masks are highly recommended, to ensure the health and well-being of registered Brantford Lift clients
• Seat belts must be worn at all times.
• Regular fares apply
