New Arrowdale Park Opens Winter Phase with Sledding – Spring/Summer Features Coming in 2026

Brantford, ON – The City of Brantford is excited to announce that the winter phase of the newly developed Arrowdale Park is now open, with the sledding hill ready for visitors to enjoy, weather permitting. Arrowdale Dog Park remains open daily from sunrise to sunset, offering a public, off-leash space where residents can bring their dogs year-round.

New Arrowdale Park amenities now open

There are a variety of park amenities now available to enjoy including sledding hills open daily from dawn to dusk (weather permitting), 1.7 km’s of paved pathways, with panoramic views overlooking the park, and an off-leash dog park.

Public and portable washrooms are not available on-site. Free street parking and on-site parking is available.

Users are reminded to follow posted rules so that everyone can enjoy the new community space safely. For the safety of all visitors, please abide by the rules of conduct and avoid closed and fenced-in areas. The City of Brantford is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from using the property. New Arrowdale Park amenities set to open in spring/summer 2026

Arrowdale Park’s grand opening community celebration is planned for spring 2026, marking the launch of exciting new amenities that will enhance year-round recreation. Features set to open in spring and summer 2026 include a large splash pad with multiple water features, a new playground with swings, a multi-use sports court, relaxing picnic areas, public washrooms, new shade structures and trees, and a new skateboard park.
