Pedestrian-accessible scaffolding at 38 Market Street

Please be advised that pedestrian-accessible scaffolding remains in place at 38 Market Street (on the Market Street and Dalhousie Street sides of the building) and will remain until 4:30 p.m. on December 22, 2025.

Removal of the scaffolding will take three days. During the removal period, the sidewalks will be closed. At all other times, the scaffolding will provide a protected walkway for pedestrians.

This scaffolding and the associated temporary sidewalk closures are required to facilitate building facade work carried out by a private contractor operating under a City-approved permit to complete construction work.
