2025 Holiday Garbage, Green Bin, and Blue Box Collection Schedule

BRANTFORD, ON –Curbside collections for garbage, recycling and green bin will not take place on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. Collections will occur one day later between Thursday, December 25 to Saturday, December 27, 2025, and Thursday, January 1 to Saturday, January 3, 2026.

Revised Collection Days

Thursday, December 25 will occur on Friday, December 26
Friday December 26 will occur on Saturday, December 27
Thursday, January 1 will occur on Friday, January 2, 2026
Friday, January 2 will occur on Saturday, January 3, 2026

Residents are reminded place garbage, recycling, yard waste and green bin at the curb by 7 a.m. on their collection day, but not before 7 p.m. the night before. Learn more at Brantford.ca/Garbage
