Applications now open for the spring 2026 City Grants program
BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford and the Brant Community Foundation invite non-profit organizations to submit applications for grant funding. To be eligible, projects must propose new or expanded initiatives that support local health and social services, community engagement and belonging, environmental protection, or recreation, arts, and cultural heritage.
The grant program is funded from the City’s revenue sharing agreement with Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, for hosting Elements Casino Brantford, and is administered by the Brant Community Foundation through three funding streams:
- Operational Stream: Up to $10,000 for applications that support the launch of new projects or expand existing programs that improve community and/or individual wellbeing.
- Capital/Start-Up Stream: Up to $15,000 for applications that launch new projects aimed at improving community and/or individual wellbeing.
- Event Stream: Up to $5,000 for applications that propose to host new or recurring community events.

- Economic and Community Investment
The City Grants application process now takes place online only. A virtual City Grants Application Information Webinar will be hosted by the Brantford Community Foundation to support this change.
