Brantford’s Fall Volunteer Fair connects residents with local organizations
BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford, in partnership with the Brant Regional Association of Volunteer Administrators (BRAVA), invites residents to the Fall Volunteer Fair on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Woodman Park Community Centre (491 Grey Street) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“The City of Brantford is grateful to the dedicated volunteers whose service strengthens the well-being of our community,” says Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “Through their generosity and commitment, volunteers enrich our programs and special events, creating lasting memories for residents and visitors alike. Their contributions embody the very spirit of civic engagement and help make Brantford a vibrant and welcoming city.”
The Fall Volunteer Fair is free to attend and will feature a diverse lineup of community organizations offering a variety of volunteer opportunities. At the fair, attendees can connect with organizational representatives, ask questions, and explore ways to become more engaged in the community. Volunteering is a great way to build experience, develop new skills, strengthen résumés, connect with others, and make a positive impact in the community. Volunteering can also count towards High School Community Service hours. Attendees can enter a draw to win prizes, courtesy of the City of Brantford and BRAVA.
“Volunteering is one of the most powerful ways to build community and the Fall Volunteer Fair is the perfect place to find ways you can make a difference,” says Kari Astles, President, BRAVA Brantford-Brant
