Brantford’s Spring Volunteer Fair returns to connect residents and inspire volunteerism
BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford and the Brant Regional Association of Volunteer Administrators (BRAVA Brant), invites residents to the Spring Volunteer Fair on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at T.B.Costain/SC Johnson Community Centre (16 Morrell St.) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event is free to attend and brings together a diverse lineup of community organizations offering a variety of meaningful volunteer opportunities for residents looking to get involved.
“The City of Brantford is grateful to the dedicated volunteers whose service strengthens the well-being of our community,” says Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “Through their generosity and commitment, volunteers enrich our programs and special events, creating lasting memories for residents and visitors alike.”
Volunteering provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop new skills, strengthen résumés, and make a positive impact in the community. It can also count toward High School Community Service hours. The Spring Volunteer Fair invites residents to explore local volunteer opportunities, ask questions, and discover ways to get involved in Brantford.
The fair connects individuals of all ages and backgrounds with a wide range of local organizations. Whether attendees are looking to build skills, discover a new interest, or give back, there is something for everyone, with organizations eager to welcome new volunteers.
“BRAVA is pleased to partner with the City of Brantford to provide an opportunity for residents to connect with local organizations, ask questions and discover ways to make a difference in the community they live in,” says Karli Cass, President, BRAVA Brantford-Brant.
